"As a professional I have always based my work on honesty. I think it is essential to provide real and updated patient diagnosis. Above all I'm always there for my patients and I consider important to be available through any means to assist them when they need, both for emergencies and for doubts."
I studied medicine because I always wanted to be in contact with people, and above all, help others.
I chose to specialize in general surgery because I always saw ailments in people that when treated with surgery, had excellent improvements.
I leaned towards bariatric surgery because I believe that the problem of obesity is one that reflects multiple factors and this makes it complex and interesting. Being able to see how the life of a person changes when their weight is reduced, is something extremely rewarding.
On the other hand, I believe that laparoscopic surgery is also something that makes me proud, because since it is minimally invasive, it allows shorter recovery time and fewer operative scars.
