General Info

About me

I believe that human beings are body, soul and spirit. Health is integral and depends on the wellness and balance of the three previously mentioned areas. Therefore, the challenge for health professionals is to understand this and to execute each professional act with a global perspective.
I am passionate about the digestive system because apart from its complex functioning in the process of feeding, digestion and absorption of food, it's the interface between our internal and the external environment, making it highly susceptible. In addition, it is the target of many of the emotional and affective disorders of the population and this makes the challenge even greater. This challenge motivates me to treat each patient as if it were the last I'll see in my life and enjoy the process as if it were the first one I attended in my career.
